Our innovative floating walkway system consists of a 40' aluminum gangway, three 40' aluminum floating walkways and a 10'x24' wooden float. The complete system is 184' in length from the top of the shore embankment to the end of the float. Because the system is fully removable, it does not require Department of Environmental Protection permitting. It will require Army Corp of Engineering approval and any applicable local permitting.

This pictures shows one of the three 40' aluminum floating walkway sections ready for installation. The sections are connected together by aluminum piano hinges, allowing for a smooth transition between each component. This contractor painted the bottom of the usually black floatation drums with a marine paint that inhibits marine life such as seaweed and barnacles from growing on the drum bottoms. To move the floating walkway system, the entire system was easily loaded on a flatbed truck for transportation to the awaiting barge. Transporting the floating walkway

A barge is used to bring the floating walkway system to the shore of the installation site. The walkways and aluminum gangway are stacked onto the float. Barge moving floating walkway to site.
